Delia Ward, Storyteller
I grew up in rural Maryland, went to a small-town college in Ohio, and now live in Seattle in a neighborhood full of crows, dogs, and pocket parks. I spent much of my career at a small literacy nonprofit and at the University of Washington, where I wrote and edited, gradually amassing experience not only in words and fundraising-related communications, but also in project management, magazine editorial, team leadership, and content production. To riff on an old TV show, I love it when a plan comes together. Especially when I have the privilege of collaborating with thoughtful, creative people who believe in their work.
